ABOUT US.
We are a mixed group of people passionate about long-term health. After a few years of focusing too much on our macronutrient intake (we have all been there for one or the other reason) we independently started researching how to take it a step further. Faiba is the result of our research. Created to evolve with us and our ideas. We like to nourish our bodies, as much as our minds.
WHAT WE STAND FOR.
I. CREATE YOUR OWN RYTHM
Nature never follows a blueprint, and neither should we. It adapts according to essential needs. We believe that at some point in the last decades people have lost the connection to those natural needs. On our way of rediscovering those, like nature, we refuse to have a pace imposed on us by others. We choose to reconnect with ourselves, understanding what we actually need, things, people, notions that give us stability in crisis, that enable us to grow and challenge our boundaries.
Let us together create a world that moves at our rhythm. A world where health becomes a ritual. Where freedom is found in the everyday. Where balance is actually lived. We are the grey area, the grain, the imperfections, the blur.
II. LIVE LIGHTLY
We don’t want to take part in converting nuturing ourselves into another energy-draining act of productivity, of functioning in societies that demand adherence to the norm.
Taking care of ourselves is not a chore, it’s an almost radical act that gives us back agency over our bodies and how they connect to nature.
Everything we ingest into our bodies be it words, images, nutrients or ideas has an impact on our abilities to feel, act and bloom. Choosing those carefully becomes a defining moment of our being.
Think lightly, be lightly. We don’t force our bodies into the change we want to see, we enable it to grow with us.
III. OUR COMMUNITY - THE TRIBE
Faiba is an invitation to live differently, to stop chasing others definition of perfection, or routine, to create a life that feels naturally yours. We believe wellbeing, be it mental or bodily, doesn't begin with other peoples rules. It begins with listening: to our bodies, our rhythms, our intuitions.
Breath, treat yourself lightly, treat others lightly and let's allow us all to experiment, fail and grow on this journey of self.
And yes, we have a book club and would love for you to participate.
